1. What the Meta connection does
A SociGaps customer can connect an eligible Facebook Page and linked Instagram professional account through Meta's authorization flow. The connection is used to identify authorized business accounts, retrieve permitted first-party information and insights, support eligible competitor intelligence, and—only when the publishing feature is live and separately approved—publish customer-approved content.
2. Permissions used in the current SociGaps pilot
3. Publishing permission
4. What SociGaps does not do
- Does not ask for Facebook or Instagram passwords.
- Does not claim access to private competitor insights such as competitor reach, saves, revenue or conversion data unless legitimately available to the connected account under Meta's APIs.
- Does not sell Meta Platform Data.
- Does not use Meta Platform Data to train our own general-purpose AI model.
- Does not automatically publish content in the current pilot's demo/test-publish mode.
- Does not request a Meta permission solely because it may be useful in a future version.
5. Data storage and tokens
Meta access tokens are confidential credentials. SociGaps stores only the integration information needed to provide the connected feature, protects sensitive token material using application security controls, and removes or invalidates it when it is no longer required or when the integration is disconnected, subject to technical and legal constraints.
6. Disconnect and delete
Users can revoke SociGaps from Meta account settings. For deletion of data held by SociGaps, see Data Deletion Instructions.
7. Trademarks
Facebook, Instagram and Meta are trademarks of their respective owner. SociGaps is an independent product of Qort Inc. and is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.
